Well, you can use the Memory Diagnostic tool that is built into Windows that tests RAM errors. It may be worth a try using, it doesn't take as long as any other memory tester. Bring up a RUN command by pressing <R> and the windows logo at the same time. Type MDsched.exe and click yes, you will be prompted to restart now or later. It will go through 2 passes and the results will be displayed after you log on. Hope this helps.

Please show all temp in C and not F.
Do you get any BSOD?
When the computer shuts down are you there with the computer?
Does your power supply go directly to the wall outlet or through another device or cable?

I have never know ram to cause a shut down without a BSOD first.
Have you remove and reinstalled your cpu cooler lately?
What if anything have you replaced in your system?

Did you install your ram using the motherboard manual for guidance?

Note:
Window 7 built in memory test is close to being useless.

If one wants to test memory this tutorial should be used for at least 8 passes which will take many hours.

no bsod just a black screen when the computer reboots and the psu is connect to a ups and the cooler has been on the whole time i had it

and yes i used the manual, yes i have ran memtest, i have replaced the cooler, psu, gpu

What else do you have plugged into the UPS? An over-load can cause your PC to reboot or shutdown. Also, what is the wattage of your PSU? You do have quite the computer load there as well, its questionable when we don't know the brand of the PSU or if it's 80 plus certified.

i have my computer and my main monitor plug into the ups part and the rest of my stuff on the surge protection part of it and i have a cooler master i500 80 plus bronze certification

Do you have the "replace battery" LED on the front of the unit? Sometimes a battery can be weak or go bad and can only provide a brief runtime. If the LED light is on make sure it is charged, if it stays lit after being fully charged then indications are it's bad.

You think if you played a game or something it will reboot? Try replicating the problem and let me know what you were doing at the time.
