Solved Recent Experience with Windows 64-bit Win7 Pro Update (KBs Listed)

My system is an Acer TMP645-MG w/i7-4500U, 8GB RAM on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. The state of Windows Update on this Acer remains that desired to prevent the automatic update for Window 10. Please inform me if I need to unhide any of the (3) KB's involved in that fiasco.

Here is the list of KB's MS is trying to push to this laptop:

KB3167679,
KB3175443,
KB3177723,
KB3177725,
KB 3178034,
KB890830.

I see several unique KB's referenced as a means to circumvent this complication in each post regarding this issue. How do we determine what the best course of action is for me to take to resolve it?

The free offer expired July 29th
I'm not a fan of hiding updates they only get revised and return
I'd personally Unhide all of them and if you don't want them just leave them to collect digital dust in the Optional section.
Assuming you already have your update settings to excluded recommended updates from being mixed into Important updates section which it sounds like you do already

Yes, I know the free upgrade offer ended in July. However, I did not know the (3) updates for this program would behave so, I left them hidden. You are correct in that these rascal's come back and it gets hold to maintain this. I may well change this as you suggest.

However, how does this address the issue with the (6) updates that will not process? These have been waiting to download to the laptop for over 3 weeks.

They will not restore ?

heck last I checked I have 19 Optional section updates collecting dust
I hope they will never process either from their descriptions
I just hope they either say where they are or disappear one day.
I finally after some time installed Net 4.6.1

The list consists of "Important" updates. I was first notified of them in August and have attempted to have them download to the laptop for periods of time ranging from a few minutes to several hours and they have yet to accomplish this feat.

Can anyone help with my update issues at this time? I have made no progress with these updates and it appears the list of people still experiencing update problems continues...

I am all set! Thank you for this.

My laptop (acer TMP-645) was lacking KB 3172605 yet, I do not understand why. I checked my previous posts regarding the Win10 update problems I experienced with this same laptop but, this current issue is independent of that. Note, I was required to disable Windows Update in order to apply KB 3172605 manually. After the required, subsequent re-start the update service and update settings were restored to their desired settings and the (6) important updates I referred to in OP were successfully installed.
