Solved Recently my system is crashing multiple times a session.

I wanted to blame my fairly aggressive overclock for the crashes but having slowly back it down and while watching temps which were always within reason, I've now set everything to system defaults and the crashing has continued. Hoping someone with a good eye for debugging can have a look. I think that ever since the large MS updates on 8/15/12 or something else has made the system unstable.View attachment 228915

Actually pulled my CPU out and put my old one back in (always nice to have a back up) I will run this for a day or two then torture test the rig and see if I get a crash. I think the high heat here and my OC has cooked the chip in a place that it can boot and run fine for a few minutes then it fails.....we'll see if my logic plays out?

OK so pulled the 8 core and swapped for the old 4 core CPU and the system is doing the same thing. So I will try my original Corsair Ram sticks next and see if maybe one of the G Skills is bad? If it's not the ram then maybe it's the mobo, I looked at all the caps and area's I could see and it all looks normal but that really doesn't mean anything. Some how I left to wonder if this isn't the recent MS updates?

Ok just pulled the G Skills out and put the Corsair ram in. I'll give this a try for how ever long it takes. So the 8 core is fine and now I'll see if it could be the G Skills? I have had about 10-20 minutes working time until the rig crashes....just FYI.

No the Corsair's are crashing as well. Funny as the system boots perfect and runs great for like 20-50 minutes then crashes. Here's the latest crash from last night attached. So it's maybe one of three hardware item's my SSD "C" drive, my PSU or my mobo. I'm inclined to think it's my mobo but odd that it boots and runs perfect then crashes. Boy any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to try to load my OS onto another drive and run it to see what happens later today after work. View attachment 229173

Grabbed a AMD GPU driver update and running the system currently so I'll see how far along I get and if or when I crash.

Cloned my SSD to a 2.5 spinner yikes how slow is this! But I've booted from it and running......now we see if the rig crashes.....my guess is it won't and that leaves my newer Crucial SSD at fault....so stay tuned as it's all guesses currently.

Seems like it may be cache error possibly related to processor. It may be a false positive but it's best to reinstall all the chipset drivers and check for any BIOS update.

Bios is current but calling MSI and they have a Beta Bios I can try but let me tell you this I've boot on my cloned drive and I'm 36 minutes strong so far, I think it may be my SSD.

That's good. SSD are causing lot of BSOD's now a days . Mostly it's older firmware

OK so I've had to pull the SSD from my desktop and place it in my lappy to pull off the firmware update...long story....but it's updated and back in the rig. So I'll run it in for a couple of days then place the 8 core chip and G Skills back in and I'm back in business. Wow as always I just can't thank everyone here enough, it's nice to have eye's and minds on the scene as support! Holding thumbs that this Crucial firmware update does it. I'll report back soon......

SSD score has jumped from 7.4 to 7.6 and I suspect it will go higher. System is very snappy with the 4 core and 1333 memory, can't wait for 8 core and 2133's to go back in but I'm stoked right now and just leaving things for a day or so.

2.5 hours and going strong. Wow I'm I glad I didn't start ordering another mobo or PSU. Great idea to clone OS and run on another drive to see!
