Hello everyone, i was thinking of upgrading my audio system and i have 2 problems, i nedd help choosing between two speakers and if i should get a sound card. I have WIN7 HP 64 bit.

These are the two speakers that i was deciding between and i want the logitech for quality but i think its not so new anymore, so i dont know if i should get the CA speakers, because i have good experiences with them, here they are

Now, if you know any better speakers less than 100 dollars, please tell me about them.

Lastly, i have an ASUS m4a785-m motherboard with via HD 8 channel audio, i dont know if i should get a soundcard or not. Is it really worth it? I was looking at some of the the Creative Cards, but they dont seem to have good drivers for Windows 7.
What card can you recommend (if i need an upgrade) to me, i usually play lots of games (shooters, and simulators mostly) and listens to lots of music and works well with 64 bit 7?

Thank you all for your time,
Andre:)

My opinion, definately the Logitech speakers.

I would upgrade the speakers and then if you feel you "must have" better audio then look at a separate sound card. I have an HT Omega "Striker 7.1" sound card (PCI type) installed in my system.

Thanks, ill buy the speakers then and i will see if i need a sound card, by the way, on the Creative Sound cards, do all those "features" (eax 5.0, dts, dolby etc.) make any difference at all or are they just to attract attention?
Thanks for the response

It's 50/50, some are marketing "goodies" and some can provide sound enhancements if they are enabled. I have a recording studio and like the "pure" sound as it was recorded, not "doctored" up so I don't use those.
