Hello, I have browsed through the forum for quite some time, and I did not find any solutions to this problem I have here.

Well I bhought a new Computer with Windows 7 home premium 64-bit. An packard Bell EasyNote TJ62.
With a soundcard Conexant high defination audio.

Well when I click myself into my properties of the soundcard for recording.
it says the driver works good, i have tried to reinstall it and so on.
The problem is not that I cannot record, its catching sound. (i have tried several microphones) but sometimes it starts lagging, I mean it only catches 50% of what i'm saying so it goes like if i said "Hello" it would catch "h lo".
I dont really know what to do, I have tried to record with my webcam program, talking in skype and messenger. Still nothing of it works. The microphone sometimes works for maybe 5 minutes max, but then it starts bugging again. This goes for the microphone in my computer aswell.

Well any help would be appriciated, and sorry if i reposted, I could not find anything similar to this thread.
Have a nice day! :)

Have you checked with the PC vendor? That is a good place to start. They may even have some updated drivers that fix the problems.

I know this is not your computer, but these sound diagnostics are pretty much the same foe every PC:

Just go down the list and check everything.

Are you a desktop or laptop? It is helpful if you fill in your system specs.

If you are a desktop, check your speakers. Your problem sounds an awful lot like a poor connection into the green port. Do the people at the other end of Skype hear the same problems?

My daughter had a sound issue on her laptop. It turned out to be the driver package from HP/Compaq that was causing it. The driver was OK, but the package was installing some add-on that was causing a conflict. The solution was to abort the driver install about halfway through, so the add-on never got to install! I never would have figured that one out on my own. I got help.
