Recover files before clean install windows 7
Can I recover any files from the HDD which were deleted before I restored back to Factory settings Vista and then did a clean install of Windows 7?

You will need to try recovery software, like
Recuva. The more the disk was written to since the files were deleted, the lower the chance of recovery.
