Solved Recover Installed Apps from Old Registry

Anyone aware of any utility(s) that will allow for the identification, and extraction of all apps that were formerly installed from an (RegEdit) exported (complete) registry. Sure would save me a hunk of time having to re-install a bunch of s/w. I have many of the activation keys.

Nothing I have ever encountered provides for that functionality. The only way I would trust the software to run properly with all necessary registry entries would be a reinstall.

OK, how 'bout another angle... Are you aware of any RegEdit-like utility that can open a .Reg file for view/edit/export without affecting the current/active registry file?
