Recovery Accident with secure earaser

Hello Every one,
I confuse wiped out all data on my hard disk drive with wipe program name Active kill Disk that i choose method 32 pass to erase it, and it was take 5 days to destroy on that hdd and after that, i knew that, i confuse HDD.
I want to get my data back, and i try to use any third part programs to recover it , but it has no luck even one file to get back.
Does any option to assist with this?

Try Get Data Back to see what it can find, but such an extensive erase cannot normally be recovered from.

Forget it. After 32 passes, there is not a single bit left from the origanal files. Sorry.

Thanks for all your concern! I had tried with Get Data recover my file, but no luck too. I maybe get in deep regret about my own hug confusing! i will try my last to bring that HDD to expert data recovery company and maybe assist.

If you bring it to a data recovery company, ask them first how much they will charge - if they recover the data (which I doubt) and also if they cannot recover the data.

Dear whs, I contact them recently, they just said let me bring for them to take a test and it's charge around 800 usd.
In your opinion, do you think they can recover it for my hdd that has been destroy by wipe method with 32 passes?

I really think it is hopeless. After 32 passes, there is nothing left. I would not spend 1 penny on that. But, of course, that is your call.

If you are sure that's what u did, then no. Are you absolutely sure you ran all those passes on that exact HD? Even though you knew you had valuable data on the same system?

Were you running it from a boot disk? How did you select the wrong drive exactly?

I have three HDDs that are not use for purpose as internal, it purpose for external.
I took one hdd among 3 without checking clearly that was true or no for wipe out! after that, i connected it as external and plugged onto through usb port and run wipe program to wipe it with 32 passes method and i leaved that computer turning on! After that i went to visit my friend's house for a week. When i came back, i saw the completed report of wiped out that took 5 days to destroy it.

When i checked that hdd, i was hopeless and hurry tried to used many recover programs to recover it. It was no luck even zero file to get recovered.

As Mr.Whs's opinion, i will not waste my time to expert recovery program company.

The whole idea of using a program like Active Kill Disk is to prevent data recovery. Normally even a single pass would prevent software recovery. In theory data might be recovered using advanced forensics methods but even then there is doubt. Multiple passes were designed to prevent even such advanced methods. 32 passes is just extra insurance to remove any possibility at all. After 32 passes recovery is impossible by any method known to man.

This is why you need a backup of all important files.
