This is the first time I've used them forum. I just want to know how to delete a file I accidentally dropped into my D:\ Recovery drive while Dragging and Dropping into another drive.

If I'm entering my request in the wrong forum, please direct me to the proper forum.

Thank you!

Hello Gary, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You should be able to delete it like any other file. :)

Thanks for the welcome Brink! I wish it would have been that easy, but when you right click, there isn't a Delete button to click. I should have mentioned that before.

Brink, I have decided to let this matter go. I've never needed a recovery drive anyway, so having this one full, doesn't really bother me now. I thank you for your time and help.

Oh, one other thing. Dragging and Dropping does nothing.

It's funny how it will let you drag and drop a file to save to it, but won't let you easily delete it.

Brink, actually, I didn't even look in the Recycle Bin to see if it had in fact dropped in there. I just did, and it didn't!

If you like, you could try deleting the file using a command prompt.

I saved that so if I decide to delete it, and not delete the entire drive.

For that I thank you again
