Recovery DVD issue

I'm going back to my Factory Reset because I need to get something off it before I go back to Clean Install (although for some odd reason, my PC runs faster after using Decrapifier to get the bloatware off). My Recovery 1/3 DVD that I made has scratches on it that make it stop at 6%. Is there a way I can get the files off it (on a different PC), put them on a new DVD and continue on my merry way..

Why is it you need to run Factory Recovery if your goal is to Clean Reinstall? Why not just Clean Reinstall following these tips to get a purrfect reinstall of Factory OEM: http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/125874-re-install-windows-7-a.html#post1086729

Edit: Running Recovery partition itself from boot is the preferred way to Factory Recover to the same HD as it is more stable. However, I would have the disks or a Win7 installation DVD standing by as a backup since the partition can fail.

If the recovery partition is intact, make a new set of recovery dvds or just restore from the partition.

Or make a wdsImagebackup with cd .... so you don't have to reinstall all the drivers ..

Your specs say it's an HP machine, as Bill suggests, if the recovery partition is intact use that.
You only get one chance to create the disks.

HP Recovery Center

Be advised that this will take the machine back to the point when you first took it of the box.

The "HP Recovery Center" will give you the option to send to backup anything you
don't want to lose, so have backup media available to use if you choose this option.

With the machine off press the power button, as soon as you do that start tapping the F11 key.

It may take several attempts to do this, if the first attempt fails, try again.
That should take you to the HP Recovery Center. When there just follow the prompts.

It is pretty much self explanatory. From the time you boot into F11 (not counting
any backups you choose to make) you should be back on a working desktop in about 30 minutes.

After it restarts just follow the prompts again to finish the process.

If your first option is system restore select no, which should take you to system recovery.

If you need to make another set - go to Folder options , show hidden files and folders and hidden system files -then search for all instances of hpcd.sys and rename them ( hpcd.sys.old will do ).

No Recovery Partition. I tried using ImgBurn but it says "Uncorrectable Error" when I try to make an ISO from the Recovery DVD

You need to order recovery disks for your model from HP. They'll charge about $20. Otherwise just do a clean install.
