Is there a way to keep the recovery data for Windows Home Premium to be used on another laptop?

The Recovery Partition is made for that brand and type of PC. Does the other PC have a Product Key? If so you can download a copy of Windows and activate with the Product Key. Let me know if the other PC has a Product Key.
