There was an option of "FIX" in windows photo gallery in Windows Vista through which we would be able to remove red eye...
Is there any such option in Windows 7? I am using 7000.

i think you'll need a 3rd party app to do photo editing on that level.

i would suggest xnview, it's got a good red-eye removal tool, and it's an excellent image tool to have on your system. the image viewer is much better than the one that comes with windows :D

Windows Live Photo Gallery offers - "fix red eye" - probably a better program than Windows Photo Gallery anyway (free - intended as the substitute on Win7 - lots of goodies - blog, burn, panorama, online albums, email, etc)

Picasa does it really well (and lots of other simple editing) - but Photoshop is the creme de la creme

Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop Essentials are good options too. Plus several cataloguing and management utilities like ACDSee and ThumbsPlus have some amount of touch-up functionality.

This is off topic, but are you using 7000 or 7100? If you are using 7000, you need to upgrade to 7100 soon.
