Red x's in emails, images missing

All of my emails come through with missing images and red x's. I use Outlook Express mainly, but the same thing happens in the new OE Classic and even Incredimail. I've made sure all the settings in either of the email clients are set correctly to prevent them from blocking images, but it makes no difference. Anyone know how to fix this?

What you mean with red x's?

Normally emails has images preview blocked for safety reasons (it can have a malware)
Did you looked on the settings?

ha ha. Never thought it could be read with the red x's missing too. It would be nice if they were. The images are missing and there are red x's in their places. I'm enclosing a pic to show you.

Preview seems to be off. Did you search on the settings.
It can also be the antivirus. Witch one you have?

Thank you so much for that system info tool. I'll work on that later today. I'm using MalwareBytes. No viruses or malware have been found.

Some malware comes as an image so some emails programs and antivirus block the preview function.
You have to look at the email program settings.

Yes, I know that about images. I've checked the settings more than once and all is okay there. Thanks for the reminder.

I don't have a solution for your case.

I have Outlook 2010 and I remember that I had to set to allow image preview on the settings.

"Allow image preview"... I don't have that option anywhere. I have Outlook 2007 which I haven't set up and tried because I've been using Outlook Express mostly. Maybe I'll set up Outlook 2007 and see what that's like. I've used OE like I said, the new OE Classic, and even Incredimail and they all do the same thing.
