I have a new Thinkpad x120e as my 'carry piece' and put a clean install of W7 Home Premium on the original hdd. Got it all nicely tuned but now I want to try out my SSD in the rig. So I need to make an image of the current drive, then restore that image, bootable, to the SSD.
Thinkpad x120e has no optical drive. It can boot however from USB or from the SD Card slot. I used a SD to install Home Premium x64.
What is the best current package for creating the backup archive and restoring it to the SSD? And the best methods?
I imagine this topic has been discussed a lot so if there is a "definitive thread" extant pls flag to me and I'll go over there.
thanks all!
