Refresh media sharing

How exactly do I refresh what is being shared? I don't know if "refresh" is the right word..

I've recently been sharing video files to my 360/PS3 using the built in Windows 7 sharing. and the files don't show up right away. I don't know what causes them to show up, I just have to believe they will be there eventually. How can I fix this?

good question, I've been wondering this too...looked through all the settings in media player, couldn't find anything.

I have just stumbled across your page and if you never found out.....

Simply search for another media server, I know there will be only yours, but it will refresh the connection.
