In the Windows graphics/monitor settings, I have my monitor configured to run 1280x1024, 32 bit color, at a refresh of 75 hz. This is a supported mode for this monitor. However, I notice some (but not all) of my 3d games are running the monitor at 60 hz refresh instead of 75. This is at the same resolution of 1280x1024 at 32 bit color.
Why are some games defaulting to 60 hz even when Windows is configured for a refresh of 75? Is there an easy way to globally force everything to run at a refresh of 75?
