Registry Editing from Command Line

So I am trying to delete some keys from the registry using command line, eventually I am going to turn it into a batch file because it is something I may have to do frequently. Basically I want to delete a folder full of registry keys without having to list every key individually. Anyone have an idea how to do this?

I don't know of a way to do whole entries at once using reg.exe


You could however just create a .reg file that would blank them all in one click
You'd have to learn the .reg file lingo though.

Yeah I read both those articles neither of them provide the deletion of folders containing keys. I was just trying to make something that would fix an end user issue with a simple double-click, job security if I have to keep resetting their settings I guess though.

Alright, found a way to accomplish what I wanted to do, its not a batch file, but it is a .reg file that should be able to be used on any computer with the software installed. Here is the link I used as reference for anyone else looking to do something similar.
