Reinstall Windows 7 Fresh!

Okay So i am running windows 7 pro 64 bit I got via the .edu email cheappy thing, and I was wondering how can I do a fresh install of windows 7? I have the dlled file on my external harddrive... should I copy to internal harddrive? and does it just install again? or what?

Depends on what type of install you want, and whether you got ISO to burn or just files.

Best is to burn the ISO to a DVD and boot into installer to format the HDD and clean install. If Upgrade, it will scan the HDD to see the prior qualifying OS before wiping it.

If you want an inplace Upgrade which saves your programs, files and settings (plus any corruption) run the installer from desktop.

Okay I see, yeah I want to do a clean install, don't need need to keep settings or anything.
