Reinstalled Win7 now my graphic card wont work

After I've installed Win7. I had to install my Radeon HD 6990M and it went smoothly..

Thou, Windows is telling me my graphic device is working proberly I'm still having issues with Auro and some games.
I've tried troubleshooting, but all I've got was an error telling me that card doesn't support DirectX 9.0... even it has DirectX 11.0 Evolved.

Typically when a pc isn't running on a graphic card you can see it by moving different Windows around, cause it leaves some kind of trail and that is exactly what happens for me atm.
Anyone know how to solve this? I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks for answering, but I'm afraid I already have tried that.
My driver is currently updated to the latest.
That is why I'm confused because usually it fixes the issue to update the driver but not this time.
