Remember clipboard from last session?
Is it possible to have Windows 7 Professional retain the contents of the clipboard until I clear it manually? I'd like it to be able to shut down without deleting clipboard contents.

not with the standard windows clipboard - it's stored in ram.
you'll have to save the contents to disk if you want it next time you boot up.
you'll have to use a different clipboard manager to save between sessions - look at
clipx - it does work in x64 - i've just tried it.
*edit* oops - yowanvista got there first - and his offering seems a lot more modern than mine...

I've been using CLCL for a long time now and I like it a lot.
No installation necessary; I have mine set to keep the last 30 clips but that is adjustable; easy Alt+C access (configurable); allows Templates to be made...
A great little utility that plays well with Windows 7.

CLCL keeps the 'clips' on disk in it's own folder... I have it set to start with Windows.
All the clips from the previous session are still there.
