Yes I just did the flame one and it gave me the flame but it's not animated, strange.

They probably have to be uploaded to a hosting site first then copy/pasted here from that 3rd party site to get the animation to work.

Don#t forget that there is a limit to the size of a gif image that this site will accept as an upload from your own machine, before it's converted to a JPG which is not animated, as Ted's informative post stated you can get round this by hosting the image somewhere on the net and using the picture link button (next to quote button)
or try double clicking on the pic to see animation
