Hi everyone. I have a friend that has downloaded a rogue anti-virus program and I would like to help her remotely. Our OS are Windows 7. My concern is will the virus latch on to my PC? Any help will be appreciated. deanie44

It's possible. But, if you know the name of the virus/trojan and you read up on it and take precautions (antivirus/antitrojan software running and up to date) you should be relatively safe.

Possible but unlikely. I would reset her system to an earlier restore point. That is usually the easiest approach.
