I download a installer of RDP from here Download Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP1 which provided by microsoft.

I tried to install it and I get this error,anyone know how to solve it ?

It says you're trying to install either a 32 bit application to a 64 bit OS or vice versa

So,how do I install it,I'm using window 7 32bits.And I know,1 Pc can install 2 type of windows

First your windows 7 starter won't run windows server 2008. It requires a separate computer with the capabilities of server 2008. Additionally, your starter version of windows 7 will run the rdp program to connect to another computer running server 2008 or windows 7 pro and above.

the rdp program for your version of windows is located at %windir%\system32\mstsc.exe


Windows server 2008 will run on a Virtual drive on computers that are capable of running the virtual machine from mS or other Virtual box people.

What you download with server 2008r2 is an .iso that you can then create a dvd or mount it under a virtual operaing system. but not on windows 7 starter..

If you have enough memory and running windows 7 pro and above, and your machine supports virtualization then yes.

If your bios does not support virtualization, I believe that if you search the windows 7 forums, you will find other options to run virtual machines and then you can install the server 2008r2 as a virtual machine.
