Is the normal uninstall option in the control panel sufficient, or should other actions be taken to completely remove Google Chrome from Win 7 ?

I have read to completely remove Chrome, to include registry entries, other action is required.

Advice appreciated !

Hi Torre,

Uninstalling Chrome from the Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel should be perfectly fine.

You will always fine remnants of old programs in the registry.

I uninstalled it a week or so ago, using Revo Uninstaller.

I have not experienced any problems, but I cannot tell you whether or not uninstallation from the Control Panel would have worked just as well.

I have used Add/remove programs in the past without any problems (as mentioned above.) I would not worry about any left over reg entries and don't be tempted by a reg cleaner either. A couple of redundant entries in the registry amongst the thousands of other entries will not affect your computers performance.
