remove individual items under computer navigation pane?

Hey is it possible to remove individual items appearing under computer navigation pane? I keep my Corsair Flash Voyager plugged in as it hosts bitlocker encryption key to enable my system to boot.. Also do you think if I transferred the encryption key file to my External Backup hdd that it will boot system up just like usb? thanks

Hey thanks but I'd still like it to appear under My Computer just not under 'Computer' in the left hand side navigation panel? Method 3 in the above link hides the drive altogether I just want it removed from navigation panel
