Remove tcp ip patch !!!!

Just installed TCP IP Patch from deepxw.blogspot.com/

Was working perfectly fine....but onli when i connect it directly to the ADSL2 modem.
but when i connect it to my router thru LAN it gets connected with limited connectivity :mad:

Is there a way to make it work ?;)

Or

Do i need to reinstall the OS ?

Or

Anyway to remove the patch ?

Your help will be Appreciated:D

Was there not a patch to remove the first one? You could try a System Restore or Repair Installation

Ok... this is a patch that modifies your TCPIP.SYS core level driver file. Because the same things don't always end up in the same places in differing versions of a file, the patch is highly version dependent... Despite the programmers claims.

For future.... Patching system files is ALWAYS a really really bad idea.

So how do we fix this... Well, the only way I know is to delete your TCPIP.SYS file and replace it with one that isn't broken, of the same version... I'm on 32 bit here, so I can't make the donation... maybe someone else can...

You could also try uninstalling TCPIP v4 and then reinstalling it but I won't promise that won't make it worse...

So how do we fix this... Well, the only way I know is to delete your TCPIP.SYS file and replace it with one that isn't broken, of the same version... I'm on 32 bit here, so I can't make the donation... maybe someone else can...

I have a X64 based system so I have a copy of the right file :)

Did you use the Universal TCP/IP Patch? If so, it has a restore option.
