Remove windows 7 dual boot

Hi, i have windows 7 rc1 32bit dual booted with windows vista home premium 32bit. I want to remove windows 7 safely without the chance of breaking my vista. Can someone please tell me what the best way is?

Linux is awesome
In disk management, make sure your Vista partition is set to "Active" and it has all necessary boot files. bootmgr, the Boot folder, etc. (they will be hidden so you need to enable "show hidden files" to see them)

If so, you can just format the partition Windows 7 is on. Provided that there is no data on there that you wish to save.

All of my systems still run fastest on XP 32-bit for the most part. Win7 is fun to play with, but I still prefer XP for raw speed, security, and functionality.
