Hi, I removed the Bitlocker password simply by hitting "Remove Passoword" on the right-click menu on the disk in Computer. Now I need the recovery key, but since I formated the USB-drive I had stored the recovery key on I'm stuck.

Do I have to format my Bitlocked drive?

Thank you, I'll take a look at that link. A lot of information there.

If it doesn't help, you may well be faced with a format and reinstall.

A quick question: Where can I find "Active users and computers" in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit?

Right-click "My Computer" > "Manage" > "Local Users and Groups" in the left-pane. But if you can crack your bitlocker without the key, let me know because my key is worthless then.

Certificate keys are like car keys. Keep a spare.

I found a Windows-backup on one of my harddrives so all of my files are now back. But if you format the drive and then use recovery-software you probably have a chance to get some files out of it. If Bitlocker is that stupid.
