My neighbors PC was infected with a trojan (3?), I used Anti-Malwarebytes and it found three (all same?) objects infected. They were removed and when it restarted a pop up of a failed DLL initialization came up. I would hit ok and it would continue to pop up. The DLL in question based on the pop up is "v32mac32.dll", I checked google and NOTHING comes up relating to that DLL.
I installed Dependency Walker and ran it (don't remember which DLL I opened), there was an error regarding IESHIMS.DLL. I have a feeling I didn't use this program correctly.
I also installed MSE and ran it, though it couldn't update the definitions, it returned error code "0x8007000d". MSE returned no infected objects.
I don't know where to go from here. Any help? Currently I am not at my neighbors house, but will be tomorrow to see it I can fix it or if I will have to resort to a reinstall.
PC has Windows 7 Home Premium x64 installed.
