Removing Hidden Files from Search or Reseting Search

oops it went away but after some while, but a pdf file was missed out while applying hide, strange...now hidden................issue solved

Figured out a better way

Type in taskbar and start menu in that same search bar. Click on the taskbar and start menu program. Click on the start menu tab. Click Customize in the upper right corner. Scroll down until you see "Search Files" and click "Don't search for files" under that. Then nothing shows up as you enter search criteria into the search bar. Hope this helps.
