Folks,

I thank each of you who responded in my earlier thread. I now have a second issue to crop up...

I was ripping a DVD (The Enforcer (1976)) with YAMMM running. When things were done, I went into MC to the Movie Library and another movie (The Enforcer (1951)) was in place on the menu list, but the movie came up as the one I wanted. I tried deleting the meta data, but it will NOT go away. Any ideas? TIA...

Rename the folder to The Enforcer (1976) and then delete *.dvdid.xml, folder.original.jpg and folder.jpg. It should pull the proper information from there.

mikinho,

I did that and that worked, however, now the issue is I keep editing the meta file to be the proper genre for each movie, but when I go back into MC, the edited genre info is reverted back to what it was before, namely the drive letter of the root drive. Any ideas?

You must have the "Use parent folder name as primary genre" option enabled in Yammm. When enabled it use the parent folder name as the genre. Sounds like you have each movie as a subfolder of the root drive? I should add a check for it. So just disable that feature or if you want more control move the folders to a Genre subfolder.
