Hello,
I had win 8 (called developer preview if I'm not wrong) trail ver., installed on drive D:, while on C: there's win. 7 ultimate. Anyway, I've formatted the D: drive but when booting there's still an option to load the system that was on it. How can I delete this? Thank you,
Hezy.

Why are you mentioning GRUB? Did you also have a Linux distro installed on the PC.

There are several ways to remove the old entry. One way is to install EasyBCD (from NeoSmart Technologies) and use the option to edit the Boot menu with their GUI. You can simply check the option you want to remove, and it rewrites the BCD for you.

It might be listed still in msconfig>Boot tab which makes it easier to delete.

If not Older versions of Easy are still free.

Yes it was. Thank you so much. :)

Hi,
guess it was the second option. Din't know about those two tutorials and if I did, I would have probably sent it to somebody else to read it, after I kind of prefer short replies. Thanks.
