Removing Ubuntu 9.10 from Dual Boot

I Have Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and just installed linux ubuntu 9.10 as a dual boot option. After playing around with it I realized I don't want it as a full os yet. Video problems, sound issues, flash player issues. How would I remove it from a dual boot option and set the space back to windows?

One way is to right click on my computer, click on the manage option. There you can delete the section of hard drive that was allocated to the Ubuntu installation and then expand the Windows 7 drive to take up the empty space left behind.

Also you can remove it from your boot options by following this simple tutorial.

Just go into system configuration and select the boot tab, then select the OS and delete it.

Zen00, there's one problem with deleting the ubuntu sections and setting windows 7 to use up the free space. Ubuntu has over-written the windows 7 boot loader with it's own when I installed them for side-by-side, so If I delete the ubuntu sections I won't be able to boot back up into windows.

You could delete the Ubuntu part and then boot up with the Windows 7 disc and use the repair option maybe?

Previously, I had ever installed Ubuntu 9.10 karmic koala on my windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit also and got some error then i decided to uninstall it but when uninstalled already finished i reboot my laptop then still there is Ubuntu 9.10 on my manager boot. to removed this one i used easyBCD. you can find this software by google easily.

@newbie87, the last post in this thread was on 11-15-2009 12:56 PM. I guess SuperEmotastix would have removed Ubuntu long agao.
