Repair Install due to Black screen

Hi, I have an issue with booting to Win7 which is being resolved in the thread Win 7 install to UEFI / GPT but another issue I have in attempting to complete this install is how to make a Windows 7 Repair Environment UEFI bootable USB flash drive using only Windows 8. This is because I have got a Win7 installed but the screen is completely black so wondered if I could do a “repair”. The repair ISO files I have been able to download if installed using Rufus are not UEFI images and I have tried adding the bootx64 file to correct USB folder but still cant get a success. Is there a downloadable ISO suitable for UEFI booting please?

If you have another thread dealing with this then where is it and why are you starting a second thread?

You'd not be able to do a Repair Install with a black screen since it is done from within the OS.

The first question about a black screen is whether there is any signal to it at all even the BIOS post? If not have you tried another monitor?
