I had a partition that became corrupt when doing disk operations on it, but my other partition with windows 7 was fine. So I used that for a month, then attempted with a partition program to rewrite the partition table hoping it would fix my other half of the partition that was messed. I used the same app on my external hard drive and it worked perfect so i figured id try on my windows partitions as well. When I rebooted it said ntlld or something like that was missing. I followed up my putting in my Windows 7 install cd and the repair tool didnt find any windows 7 installations. I did in cmd prompt bootrec /fixboot , bootrec /fixmbr and bootrec /scanos which didnt find my windows 7.

I loaded up GParted and theres 1 NTFS partition which says its full, i tried booting it and it didnt work, nothing happens at all. The rest of the partition said it was unallocated... and 100% free which i know is a lie because I was booting from that one before on my windows 7 when i was trying to fix the partition table, then rebooted and my problems started.

Now Im trying Partition Wizard Home Edition to maybe help me.

Any ideas on how I can fix?

Using Partition Wizard bootable CD, make sure Win7 partition is marked Active,

then boot Win7 DVD Repair console or Repair CD, click through to Recovery Tools list to run Startup Repair up to 3 separate times with reboots to repair or rewrite the MBR to Win7.
