Repair Stalls, out of memory

Windows 7 64 bit,SP1 ,8gb RAM, 460 gb HD
I made a repair DVD (and a USB) repair disk and it runs to about 72% and then stops and says there's not enough memory.

My disk partition says:
Healthy OEM partition 39 MB 100% free
Recovery NFTS 14.6 GB 61% free
OS (C) NTFS 451 GB 67% free

I ran Windirsat, deleted old programs, deleted videos, defragged, CCleaner, Disk Cleanup, and it keeps doing it.

When it runs, it says upgrading, but it's supposed to be repairing....what am I missing? Could it be N360 backup files?

Hello LeM22,

Did you change the size of your page file instead of letting it be managed by the system? If so, then you may have set it to small.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just checked and it is on auto, system managed. Minimum allowed is 16MB, recommended is 10738MB and currently allocated is 7159MB. Should I change it and see if it helps?

No need to. It should automatically adjust the size as needed with those settings.

You might consider a clean install instead.

I will do that then, I'll just move my files off for a bit. This is the original installation from the spring of 2010. Any ideas why it does this? Thanks.

Not sure, unless there's not enough free space in your recovery partition.
