Repeat BSODs, seemingly random (currently using fresh Win7 64 install)

Hello all, and thanks for taking the time to read up on my woes..

Built the computer in 2011 and have occassionally run into this BSOD: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I started having Win7 hangs ~50 minutes or so into using the computer, regardless of activity, where Windows would stop responding.

To rule out the SSD as an issue I disconnected the SSD and installed Win7 on formatted 2TB WD drive... and have run into this old BSOD ******* again (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) on a fresh install. Looking for advice on what to do - happy to post logs etc just not sure what.

Hi IBM999 welcome to SevenForums

Run a memory test . Take a look at the tutorial below

:ar: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

   Note
Take a look at Part 3 of the tutorial if any ERRORS come up

   Tip
If you have a Dual Channel memory kit and one of the memory sticks is bad . Replace both of the sticks . If the memory stick is still under warranty open an RMA with the memory's manufacture to get it replaced

One of your RAM sticks is bad . One red error is enough to replace a memory kit or stick . But you have a Dual Channel kit so you would have to replace both memory sticks .
