G'day all. I've gotten good help here before, and am hoping someone can help here. Brand new custom made PC, i5-4460 8 8Gigs DDR3 Win 7 x64 (Home Prem) 1TB W.D. HDD.

User said the machine was "crashing" repeatedly, freezing for a period then resuming, and possibly rebooting (I will have to verify this one). We removed the machine, reinstalled Windows, and set it up again.

After a couple of days, same complaints. So we removed the machine, replaced the HDD and the ram, and reinstalled Windows 7.

Few days later, same thing. I will also have to confirm this, but I don't think there were crashes initially, which makes me suspect software, specifically Cabinet Vision, or Solid 8.0 which appears to be an add-on to C V.

I do not believe there were any BSODs, but am attaching the requested DM log as well, in the interests of being thorough. I am including all of the event logs as well as program and hardware information.

I hope this is sufficient information for someone to help me diagnose this, but of course, if I have left anything out, let me know and I will update. I have access to this PC via Teamviewer, so again, if I need anything else, I can get it.

Thanks again in advance for any help you can provide.

One final thing. I built several identical machines for this same company, all are apparently using the same software, and none of the others are having problems. Not sure it's relevant, but the machine was also moved from it's previous location to another, to eliminate potential power issues.

Thanks again!

Hello JSI58.

I've been quite active on the BSOD forum and whilst there I've seen crashes of all kinds, and I think the computer is simply overheating and that is why there might not be any message and to protect itself it just goes dorment.

This is only a guess as I'm not there to see the actual crash.

This is an explanation:

But as said earlier this is just a wild guess but I would still recommend that you check the cooling, does the CPU have the stock cooler that came with the package or does it have an aftermarket one? What of the rest of the case, what does it have as cooling?

There was also a 0xF4 BSOD but with no memory dumps in your upload it will be near to impossible to know what caused it, please check this tutorial if you have your Windows set up in the accurate way!

Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

Cheers, Boris :)

Boris. It is the stock cooler. Sorry for the delay, I have been out of town. Since I got back, I was informed that the problem is happening with no programs open, so that eliminates their software issue. Next week, I am going to go there, and change the cooler and thermal paste and see if that resolves the issue.
We will also configure Windows to produce the memory dumps if it has not already been done, and we'll send those as well.

Thanks again,
