I've been having multiple blue screen of death. I tried doing a system recovery, but it is still occurring. I'm not sure what's wrong since I'm not tech savvy. I used the computer yesterday and everything was fine.

So I finished doing step 1 of the instructions and I was moving on to step 2. I have a hp pavilion p6510f. I was sliding down the thing on the system unit because since the BSOD occurs repeatedly and it makes my computer start up again, I was going to use usb drive to put the information on the forum using my laptop. It made a high pitch noise and my computer froze.

Sorry, to post again. But I was finally able to move to step 2 and when I put the USB drive in my computer, the screen froze. I had to pressed the power button to turn it off, and when I turned it back on, the screen is now black and nothing appears. What should I do now?

I don't think it's a virus because I have Norton 360 and when I was able to, I ran a scan and it didn't find anything. Now when I turn on my computer, the screen is black and then it says no signal.

Hi,

Can you boot into advanced boot options?

:ar: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/666-advanced-boot-options.html

If you can please select "Last known Good Configuration" and reboot.

If that does not allow you to boot into windows normally please try booting into Safe-mode:

If you can boot into safe-mode follow Arc's sound advice and scan for viruses using WDO:

Let me know the outcome.

Cheers

Dave

First check the power connections. Are they placed properly?
Then, observe if the PSU is working or not. If not, you may need to replace the PSU.
