Repeated BSOD, possibly network related

I have a DELL Latitude E5520 and I countiniously get BSOD.
I suspect this is due to the network adapter, never experience BSOD when working offline. I've tried updating the drivers (on the DELL website), but it didn't work for me.
Network adapters are
Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit
Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205

It is indeed related to your wireless network adapter. First, download it from: Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]


Now that you have downloaded the latest Intel Wireless Network package, here are the steps to install it so it sticks and actually updates the drivers for the device.

1. Click Start Menu
2. Right Click My Computer/Computer
3. Click Manage
4. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
5. Expand Network adapters
6. Right click the Intel Wireless network device
7. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
8. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device and hit OK
9. Do not restart your computer
10. Install the downloaded driver for the Intel Wireless network device.

Alternatively:

1. Login as an adminstrative user.
2. Click Start Menu
3. Click Control Panel
4. Click Hardware and Sound
5. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
6. Expand Network adapters
7. Right click the Intel Wireless network device
8. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
9. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device and hit OK
10. Do not restart your computer
11. Install the downloaded driver for the Intel Wireless network device.

dear writhziden, first of all thank you very much for spending your time looking at this. So, the drivers, it's quite tricky, I'll tell you why. The drivers you recommend are for xp. I had tried the ones for windows 7 which are these ones

but I would still get the bsod.
Somewhere I read that one should install the xp drivers because they were bug free, so I downloaded those which you recommend and tried to install them but I got something like a "wrong operating system" message.

I have to say that when I installed the windows 7 version (link above) I had not followed your precise step by step kind of instructions but rather over written the old drivers (I believe).

So, to conclude, I have followed your steps but I have installed the windows 7 drivers.

If this is what you wanted me to do, I'll have a go and tell you if I have still BSOD. If instead you genuinely wanted me to install xp drivers could you please let me know how to avoid the "wrong operating system" kind of error ?

You are correct, the Windows 7 version is the one you want. My apologies for linking to the wrong one. I did not notice that Dell had the default drivers for XP instead of Windows 7. Strange that they would do that... Anyway, glad you got the right ones installed. Let us know if you have any more trouble.

Also, let us know if the problem ends up being solved. You can mark the thread solved when you feel comfortable with the system's stability.

crashes continue

Unfortunately I'm still getting crashes. What I did, I deleted the old dump files, rerun the executable to collect the new ones and this time I have also attached the health report as suggested by the instruction (didnt do it in the previous post). All in the zipped file attached

Still network related. Appears your Intel wireless network adapter drivers are corrupted again. Re-install as before.
