Repeated BSODs and freezing - different actions

Hello community,

Seeing how nicely people unversed in technical matters are being treated on this forum, has encouraged me in seeking help here.
For I’m a retiree and calling me low-brow in technical issues would be the understatement of the year.

The trouble began with the computer freezing; I’d to pull the plug to shut it down. Two days later the same. And then the blue screens started.
This is what I did before before I came to the forum: activating <Driver Verifier>; installing BlueScreenView and using <windbg> to have a look at the dump files (to no avail, of course J) After the third <btnetBus.sys> ocurrence I disposed of a bluetooth software called Blue Soleil. I replaced Avira with MSE. And I deinstalled a software called <Downloadhelper> which I used when crashing once again.

I’m gratuful for any advice. It would even be helpful to know whether this is a hardware or a software problem.
