Hi,
I am currently using an old 250GB PATA HDD as my primary drive. It's an old drive as is starting to sound "rough" to say the least, I guess through wear and tear (it's about 7yrs old), and so I'm looking to replace it.
My options are use the SATA disc from my portable 2.5'' 250GB as an internal drive with an 3.5'' - 2.5'' adapter or splash out on a low capacity SDD (60GB).
I'd like to know if there's any down sides to using a 2.5'' drive with an adapter and if a low capacity SDD would be worth the money (as I have a 1.5TB drive for data).
Thanks.
