Do not despair I have windows 8 on another machine but I need ubuntu. The easiest way I can do this is by replacing windows 7 on my old netbook. I have tried 3 different usb sticks and an sd card with the ubuntu.iso on it but it does not get recognised. I have changed the boot priority in Bios but nothing is picked up. I have tried different versions of the ubuntu.iso file. I have tried everything I can think of.
Please would anyone be able to help?
I have verified all the usb and sd card ports are working but do not get picked up when booting.
Anyway any help at all is most welcome.
