sadly we've lost four of the old ones over the last month due to one thing or another.

the good news is that Smudge is doing fine - the vet is really amazed by him. Smudge has a cancerous tumour under his chin, and this time last year the vet gave him a month to live, saying he wouldn't make it to (last) xmas. Smudge used to live in the mobile home with the other charity cats, and i decided to take him in to live with me for his last few weeks. he obviously likes my bungalow and the tumour is growing at an incredibly slow rate, the vet has seen nothing like it in over thirty years of practise, so it looks like Smudge will be with me for quite a while to come! :D

Sorry to hear about the losses but I suppose we can't expect them to live forever however much we'd like them to.

Glad to hear Smudge is doing well, my Smudge is OK as well, apart from dodgy eyes, but if she's related to who we think he was the same and they're both mainly white.

Fingers crossed that your Smudge astounds the vets for a bit longer.;)
