I remember what caused me to discover Vista Forums and Seven Forums in the first place. It was actually the first forum I joined. Seems like such a long time ago and I've come quite a long way since then. My posts are slightly more concise now than they were back then!

Why did the rep "scales" disappear on an older thread?

I just learned how to give rep points to people and I wanted to give some to some people who helped me out when I first joined.

So I went back to those threads (they are several weeks old) and was surprised to see there were no scales in the upper right corner of their posts.

Do they disappear after a certain length of time?

Or am I missing something?
