I developed an application that accessed the Answer Supervision Ratio (ASR) data from multiple Nortel DMS-300s and applied those ASR values as the functional variable to determine virtual realtime Least Cost Routing (LCR) from 20 underlying carriers. In turn, this LCR data generated FOB pricing data that was automatically reported through MS Word as termination agreement pricing addenda.

Prior to this development, time on task for this workset was nearly 60 hours per week and required a minumum of two staff personnel with a combined salary exceeding $75k. Following development, it was an icon on my desktop. About one hour time on task per week.

But, I am by no means a developer. I am just fundamentally lazy.

Dang, you worked in the telco sector too! I designed Cablevision's Local Area Portability processing nightmare ... didn't do any actual development, mostly made developers want to commit suicide (or murder).

I guess I'm at the "Architect" phase of my basically extinct IT era ...

Hey, how about a paisley "Architect" badge??? Now THAT would be cool .
