Thanks again! That's be something, but I think that will take quite a while yet and I still really do have a lot to learn before I would feel worthy of that. But one of the things that I like about trying to help out here is that I also learn a lot in the process.

I find it very difficult to gain rep even though I am helping as much as I can lol

Not everyone gives rep or is aware of it. Probably only about half of the people who even went to the trouble of thanking me for helping them (or trying to) actually gave any rep. That's just the way it goes.

I wrote a tutorial, figuring that would be a great way to be seen as a contributing member here and also to earn reps...

I have received a total of 3 reps and those were all from longstanding members here! Thus the comedic line added to my sig!

There are going to be days when you dont get rep even for really good work. There will be days when you get it for no reason. It will come. The more time and effort you put in the more likely you are to get thanked.

Yeah look at my post count or the post count of most who have attained those nice badges and compare it to yours and you will notice there is usually a considerable difference. It just takes time and a lot of posts to acquire reps, (unless you are so knowledgeable that you are elevated by the powers that be without having acquired the actual points).

And, fortunately, there are members here who will notice when someone has been making an effort and occasionally will drop a very valuable rep on you out of the blue that gives one a big boost. So just keep plugging away at it is my advice and it will eventually come.
