Yeah, that's what I've found as well...especially this whole "water" thing. Bloody Mary's seem to work pretty well though. :D

I've always found that the only sure fire cure ,or more precisely hangover prevention, is to never actually sober up enough for the hangover to begin.

Not totally practical but effective :p

But seriously, guys. We Finns know the cure: heat up the sauna and I mean a real sauna and the real heat, 110-120 grades Celsius (about 230-245 Fahrenheit). 15 minutes in sauna, evenly throwing steam, then cold and hot showers, a light beer, a few minutes fresh air and back to sauna.

Repeat the sequel as many times as needed, change the light beer from third round on to soda water.

Works.
