A long time ago I was messing around with various processes and services in Win7 x64, and one thing I did and promptly forgot about was that I renamed the avg cache server file AVGCHSVA.EXE to a different filename, to prevent this process from loading.
Now, months later, I'd like to re-enable AVG's cache server process, but simply renaming the file back to the original name, and checking the appropriate box in AVG's settings, gives me an error message.
Unless the filename itself has changed in newer versions, I suspect my problem is that my AVG installation (overall) is now version 9.0.0.832, and the version of the AVGCHSVA.EXE file I have is a much older version.
If anyone knows an easy way to get version 9.0.0.832 of AVGCHSVA.EXE, please post here or PM me. Perhaps some kind soul could even email a copy to me. Thanks!
