I have a quick question for all of you, I seem to have forgotten my router login information. I tried the default login and username, however that didn't work. My question to you is, if I hard reset my router will I have to reinstall the router again? I remember I needed a Installation CD for this router so i just want to make sure with you guys.

Actually; you should not need the cd at all because usually those cd's just contain user documentation. They dont contain drivers or anything of that sort. As for the hard reset; usually if you do a hard reset; yes you probably will have to re-do all the router info like resetting the network id and passphrase as well as any other settings of the sort because when you do a hard reset it resets them to factory defaults.

So resetting the router doesn't mean I have to re install the whole router? It just resets the router to the default settings.

So pretty much when I hard reset I will have to re install the whole entire router. If that's the case I have to find the CD for it.

No, when you hard reset the router, it doesn't uninstall it from your computer, it just resets the router settings to their defaults. No installation is needed, you will just need to go into the router page and set any settings you had different from the defaults. That's all you have to do.
